Who We Are
Cosmo is the Abu Dhabi waste management service provider of integrated
waste management and environmental solutions. Operating from Abu Dhabi
across the UAE we work in partnership with customers to help minimize the
financial and environmental impacts of their waste.
Founded in 2015, we have developed a distinctive approach that has helped us
to maintain a leading position within the industry. This approach is underpinned
by our commitment to quality of service, innovation and technical progress,
together with a genuine and demonstrable concern for the environment.
What We Do
We provide a total waste management service for the reduction, reuse, recycling, recovery and disposal of waste, delivered via a combination of specialist services, contract management and the operation of our own facilities.
Our total waste management service includes the collection, treatment, recovery, recycling and disposal of non-hazardous waste streams, in addition to dealing with all aspects of hazardous waste, including contaminated waste, clinical and healthcare waste and waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). We also offer additional services including special event waste management and industrial cleaning services.

We own and operate an extensive fleet of varied and purpose-built collection vehicles, in addition to a range of industry-leading, state-of-the-art treatment facilities.
Our Services
Commercial waste management & recycling
We are currently the largest on-site waste management company in Abu Dhabi
and we specialize in managing waste on-site in such a manner that it will save
you money and reduce the waste you send to landfill.
On-site sorting and cleaning
Sorting waste and maximizing recycling is our specialty. Let us manage this for you to achieve your 3RS program supported by CWM. We will place our staff on site to keep your waste area clean and comply with the latest environmental legislation, while reducing the waste to landfill.
Waste reduction
We also understand the business environment as communicated by our motto. This means that we will do a waste audit free of charge, apply our formulae to your current waste stream and if we can reduce the waste you send to landfill, we will propose a service to manage your waste effectively. For each kilogram of waste that we remove from the waste stream, you will see a double benefit (reduction in landfill cost as well as income from the recycling).
In other words, where other companies will profit from the removal of waste, we will profit
from the reduction of waste, and you will save money.
General waste and hazardous waste removal
Whatever waste we cannot recycle, we will safely dispose at a Municipal approved landfill site and keep the following documents on storage for audit purposes:
• Safe disposal certificates (per load)
• Operation permit of each landfill site we use
• Product safe destruction certificate
• Delivery notes
• Manifest
• Daily and Monthly reports
Organic waste
Many organic waste types could be converted into composting. Our standard services include an option for our clients to separate the organic waste from their normal waste stream, and we will take care of the composting.
Sustainable reporting
We will measure each of your waste streams daily and feed it into our reporting mechanism. Each client has full access to this information through our reporting team.
